All are welcome to attend the 2017 Lyons Township High School Spring Art Show April 21– April 25 at South Campus Room D103, 4900 S. Willow Springs Rd., Western Springs. The show is open for viewing from 3-5pm on Friday, April 21, Monday, April 24, and Tuesday, April 25. It is also open from noon-4pm on Saturday, April 22, and noon-2pm on Sunday, April 23. Celebrate the arts and witness student creativity, talent and learning. Ceramics, drawing, painting, photography, metalsmithing, computer/digital art, animation, and more will be featured.
Please join us for the opening reception Monday, April 24, 6-8pm. Be our guests, see the show and meet the artists and LT art faculty. Light refreshments will be served and live entertainment will complete the evening.
There will be two fundraisers taking place at the opening reception – The Empty Bowls Project and a Photo Card fundraiser. Empty Bowls is a project designed to help feed local families in need. Each hand-made bowl, designed and crafted by an LT student-artist, costs only $5 and 100% of the donation helps feed hungry families. The bowls are food and dishwasher-safe. Photo greeting cards will also be sold during the opening reception for $5 for two cards with all proceeds going to the St. Cletus Food Pantry. Be sure to purchase original artwork while donating to a great cause!
