Ex-Hinsdale Chief Takes Western Springs Job
The Hinsdale Fire Department has seen two interim leaders since the former chief retired in early April.

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL – Former Hinsdale Fire Chief John Giannelli, who retired in early April after 32 years with the fire department, moved to a job one suburb over.
Late last week, Western Springs confirmed that Giannelli became a 30-hour part-time firefighter as of April 22. His last day with Hinsdale was April 5.
Given his years of service, Giannelli is eligible to receive a pension from Hinsdale.
