Film Discussion Group: "Gimme Shelter"
Film and discussion at Ford Library on Friday, February 19 at 7 p.m.

In “Gimme Shelter,” a pregnant teenager flees her abusive mother in search of her father, only to be rejected by her dad and forced to survive on the streets until a compassionate stranger offers a hopeful alternative. The film will be shown and discussed on Friday, February 19 at the Thomas Ford Memorial Library, 800 Chestnut St., Western Springs. Doors open at 6:45 p.m., film begins at 7 p.m., discussion follows till 9 p.m. The film is 101 minutes long and was released in 2013. No registration needed.
