Fire At Home Under Renovation Put Out Quickly
Authorities consider a fire that broke out at a home on Grand Avenue in Western Springs to be an accident.
WESTERN SPRINGS, IL — A home undergoing renovation caught fire Thursday morning in Western Springs. Fire crews responded to the 4300 block of Grand Avenue around 7 a.m. and found a fire on the second floor.
Several nearby fire departments responded after the call was raised to a Full Still and a hose line was used to keep the blaze under control.
No one was at the home at the time of the fire, which authorities consider to be an accident.
