Gun Charge Filed In Western Springs: Cops
In another case, a man was arrested after a crash in the village, police said.

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL – Western Springs police released their latest blotter Thursday. Here is information from the reports:
Weapons charge
- Patch earlier reported on the arrests of three youths in connection with a Dec. 21 incident at Garden Market shopping center, 4700 S. Gilbert Ave. At the time, charges were pending against the 15-year-old suspect. He has since been charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and taken to the Cook County juvenile jail. Police said he had a .22-caliber gun, but have declined to say whether the youths were Lyons Township High School students.

- A 28-year-old Chicago man was arrested about 8:30 a.m. Dec. 22 at Ogden Avenue and Hampton avenues on charges of driving with no valid license, driving an uninsured car and making an improper left turn. He was involved in a crash.
Driving violations
- A 35-year-old Maywood man was arrested about 8:30 a.m. Dec. 18 at Ogden and Forest avenues on charges of driving with a suspended driver's license and driving an uninsured car. He was also wanted on a warrant.
