Hinsdale Man Charged With DUI: Western Springs Cops

Man seen driving erratically near 47th and Gilbert, report says.

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL — In recent days, Western Springs police have dealt with a DUI suspect and underage drinkers, reports say. Here is information from the police department's latest blotter:

  • David F. Shutack, 67, of Hinsdale, was arrested about 4 p.m. March 15 near Starbucks, 6 47th St., on charges of aggravated DUI, driving with a suspended license and illegal transportation of alcohol. He was seen by an officer driving erratically near 47th Street and Gilbert Avenue.
  • Three 18-year-old women and an 18-year-old man were cited about 5:30 p.m. March 14 in the 5100 block of Grand Avenue on charges of being minors in possession of alcohol and consuming alcohol. Two were from La Grange and one each were from La Grange Park and Western Springs.
  • Officers issued a citation for disturbing the peace about 2:30 a.m. March 20 in the 5200 block of Central Avenue after receiving a call about a loud party.
