Hit-And-Run Crash, Porch Piracy: Western Springs Cops
A parked car was found damaged after a hit-and-run accident.
WESTERN SPRINGS, IL — Western Springs released its latest police reports Tuesday. Here is the information:
- Victor Martinez, 21, of Chicago, was cited about 8:30 a.m. Sept. 15 at 47th Street and Commonwealth Avenue on charges of driving with a suspended license and speeding.
- A parked car was struck in a hit-and-run accident about 4:30 p.m. Sept. 16 at Mariano's, 4700 Gilbert Ave. The rear quarter panel was damaged.
- An item ordered from eBay left by UPS on the front step of a house in the 5800 block of Wolf Road on Sept. 19 was stolen.
- A resident in the 200 block of 45th Street reported that a student's high school debit account was fraudulently accessed July 7. The crime was reported Sept. 14.
Police report information is provided by local police departments. Charges are not evidence of guilt. They are a record of police actions on a given day, and persons charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
