Hit-And-Run Crash, Porch Piracy: Western Springs Cops

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL — Western Springs released its latest police reports Tuesday. Here is the information:

• Victor Martinez, 21, of Chicago, was cited about 8:30 a.m. Sept. 15 at 47th Street and Commonwealth Avenue on charges of driving with a suspended license and speeding.
• A parked car was struck in a hit-and-run accident about 4:30 p.m. Sept. 16 at Mariano's, 4700 Gilbert Ave. The rear quarter panel was damaged.
• An item ordered from eBay left by UPS on the front step of a house in the 5800 block of Wolf Road on Sept. 19 was stolen.
• A resident in the 200 block of 45th Street reported that a student's high school debit account was fraudulently accessed July 7. The crime was reported Sept. 14.
