House Hunt: Five Most Northeastern Homes for Sale in the Village
These homes are close to Field Park, Nazareth Academy and Ogden Avenue. Plus, they're cool; check them out!
On last week's House Hunt, eagle-eyed reader Julie Burke, with particularly acerbic wit, wondered what the "hose walk" that one of the featured homes touted on its resume was. I responded that it was where you walked by your Patch editor and hosed him down for making silly typos.
I plan on triple-checking this Ho(u)se Hunt in order both to keep myself dry (it's coldΒ out!) and retain my editorial integrity as we take a look this week at homes from the northeastern part of Western Springs, which is also, not coincidentally, the northeastern part of Field Park.
Curiously, there are currently no homes for sale in the seven-block trapezoid formed by Ogden Avenue, Gilbert Avenue, 40th Street and Ellington Avenue. However, all five of the houses weβre spotlighting this week sit just at the perimeter of said trapezoid. Check them out!
