House Hunt Five Townhomes for Sale in Commonwealth

While most Village residents regularly drive through, say, Old Town North, Field Park or Forest Hills, Commonwealth is an area that’s easy to forget if you don’t live there. Sectioned off from the rest of the Village by our only body of water—Flagg Creek—and enterable only from 47^th Street or over a 53^rd-Street bridge, it’s a terrific place to live in the Village if you want as little vehicle traffic as possible.

The townhome community’s website stresses that the dwellings’ floorplans are highly customizable for the ultimate personal experience. “We’ll work closely with you to make your home reflect your tastes and lifestyle,” the site promises.

Indeed, a couple of the homes we found for sale in Commonwealth are definitely awaiting a personal touch for furnishings. Also, oddly, three of the five Commonwealth homes most recently for sale are on cul-de-sacs, (there is a sixth, but it’s been on the market nearly a year) one in the north and two to the south.
