Leaving Scene Of An Accident, Warrant: Western Springs Blotter

The following information is from the Western Springs Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

Nov. 23

• A front entrance door window was shattered sometime between Nov. 21 and Nov. 23 in the 100 block of Ogden Avenue.

Nov. 25

• Daniel Mantejano, 36, of Plainfield, was arrested at 1:10 a.m. at Ogden and County Line for having an in-state warrant and illegal transportation of alcohol after an officer conducted a traffic stop for speeding.

Nov. 26

• Zivorad Markovic, 54, of Brookfield, was arrested at 4:10 p.m. in the 3800 block of Howard Avenue for leaving the scene of accident, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, operation of uninsured vehicle, improper lane use, no valid driver's license and failure to give information after striking property.
