License Suspended, Retail Theft: Western Springs Blotter

The following information is from the Western Springs Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

Dec. 9

• Valerie Perez, 27, of Plainfield, was arrested at 3:43 a.m. at 39th Street and Hampton Avenue for driving while license suspended after a traffic stop for failure to signal on a lane change. Perez also had several outstanding warrants, and was taken to Will County on those warrants.

Dec. 13

• Several pairs of sunglasses were stolen from the 500 block of Hillgrove Avenue sometime between 4 p.m. Dec. 13 and 9 a.m. Dec. 14.
