Lion staffers rack up more awards

Lion newspaper wins big at statewide journalism competition

Congratulations to Lyons Township High School’s Lion newspaper and staffers who won awards from the recent statewide Illinois Journalism Education Association contests (Division 6). Overall, the newspaper won second place in the Website category, third place in Front-Page Design for the Feb. 26, 2016 issue, “LionFest,” and third place in Best Hybrid (print and online) Publication.

In individual events, the following awards were won:
