Loud Music: Western Springs Resident Cited

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL — A Western resident was cited last week on a charge involving loud music, police said.

According to a report, police received a complaint that a neighbor in the 5500 block of Heritage Court was playing loud music and refused to turn it down. As a result, police said they issued a citation for disturbing the peace.

It happened about 11:30 p.m. Saturday, police said.

In another incident, a driver told police his car was sideswiped by another vehicle about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Ogden and Grove avenues, police said. The offending driver did not stop.
