LT Athletic Trainers collect equipment for underprivileged athletes

In honor of National Athletic Training Month, the Lyons Township High School athletic trainers are holding a used sports equipment drive. Trainers will be accepting gently used sports equipment, which may be dropped off at either Athletic Training Room (H121 at South Campus and Room 182 at North Campus) every day after school 3-6pm during the month of March. Items will be donated to The Sports Shed, a non-profit organization that provides sports equipment for underprivileged children in Chicago.

National Athletic Training Month raises awareness about the profession and the benefits of having an athletic trainer in every athletic/active environment. LT has made student-athlete safety a priority by continued support of the Athletic Training Program and student club.
