LT Drug Busts, Car Egging: Western Springs Cops

Three 15-year-olds face marijuana charges, police say.

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL — In recent days, Western Springs police charged three students with drug possession and responded to an egging of a car. Here are the latest reports from the police department:

  • Two boys and a girl, all 15, were charged with possession of less than 10 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia in recent days at Lyons Township High School South Campus. The boys were charged March 4 and the girl March 6. One of the boys faced the additional charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • A resident in the 1300 block of Walnut Street reported a car was egged overnight Feb. 29.
  • Raleigh A. Arriaga, 22, of La Grange Park, was arrested at 9 p.m. March 1 in the 800 block of Ogden Avenue on charges of driving with a suspended license and speeding.
  • A resident in the 4600 block of Wolf Road reported damage to their trellis and other garden furniture overnight Feb. 14.
  • A resident in the 4100 block of Lawn Avenue reported damage to their white vinyl fence overnight Feb. 29.
