LT invites students with disabilities to post-high school planning night
Tuesday, October 18 at Oak Park River Forest High School

Students with disabilities are invited to attend the Options Fair Tuesday, October 18, 6:30-8:30pm at Oak Park River Forest High School, 201 N. Scoville Ave., Oak Park. The OPTIONS FAIR was established to offer students with special needs an opportunity to meet with colleges and universities as well as agencies that can provide services after high school. This program is free to the public and no pre-registration is required.
More than two dozen colleges and universities will attend, along with another two dozen other agencies focused on options after high school. There will be five key presentations, including:
· Transitioning from High School to Post-Secondary – Tools for Success
· Preserving your Mental Health in College: How to Advocate for your Mental Health Needs
· Navigating the College Search process for Students with Learning Challenges
· Student Success Programs at the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater
· Mobile Applications for Education
