The Lyons Township High School Theatre Board proudly presents Robin Hoode of Sherwood, a play written and directed by LT faculty member Eugene O’Reilly. Junior Gabe Michor, of Western Springs, is the assistant director.
Legends are created over time and vary by storyteller. Join us when one of England’s, perhaps even the world’s, best known legends comes alive in LT’s first outdoor theatre production. Sit in a chair or relax in the grass as we follow Robin, Marian, Little John, the Sherriff, Gisborne and the rest of the well-known cast of characters. We will reinterpret and revel in the legend of the great archer and philanthropist. Set in the South Campus Courtyard, we hope to transport you back to the 13th century. Period costuming, live battles, and music will be a feast for all ages.
The outdoor performance dates are Thursday, October 6, at 4pm and Saturday, October 8, at 1pm and 4pm in the South Campus Courtyard, 4900 S. Willow Springs Rd., Western Springs. Tickets are $10, $5 for children and senior citizens and free with an LTHS student ID. Tickets may be purchased in the box office starting one hour before the show. The theatre opens thirty minutes before curtain and the show starts promptly. The Rain location will be the North Campus Reber Center.
