LTHS Fight Results In Battery Charge: Cops

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL – A 14-year-old girl was charged with battery last week in connection with a fight that occurred at Lyons Township High School's South Campus, Western Springs police said.

According to police, the altercation took place May 3 at the school. No injuries were reported, police said. The La Grange resident was taken into custody after an investigation.

Late last month, an attack in a hallway at South Campus gained much attention after a video was posted online. Western Springs police arrested a 16-year-old girl of La Grange and a 14-year-old boy of Countryside in connection with the incident.
