LTHS teams up with McDonalds for Relay for Life fundraiser

One of several fundraisers to support and bring awareness in the fight against cancer. Our next event is a car wash on May 14th.

A delicious dinner was had by all who helped support Lyons Township High School’s Relay for Life at the Westchester McDonalds, Wolf Road and 31st Avenue, earlier this week. The pair teamed up and raised $550 to support LT’s Relay for Life and awareness in the fight against cancer.

McDonalds donated a portion of diners’ bills at this McTeacher’s Night. LT teachers were on hand to help serve meals, bus tables, greet guests, work the drive-thru and drum up donations.

McTeacher’s Night is one of many events held prior to the Relay for Life, scheduled from noon-midnight on June 4 at the South Campus Bennett Field. The next Relay for Life event is a car wash Saturday, May 14, at South Campus 9am-noon. Donations are welcome.
