Missing College Student from Western Springs Found

Tyler Allen is in Boulder and undergoing a medical exam, his family reports.

One day after Tyler Allen’s family expanded their search for him to neighboring states, the 20-year-old University of Colorado student has been found and returned to Boulder, the family reported Sunday morning on their Find Tyler Facebook page.

Allen, of Western Springs, was last seen on April 11 in Boulder, CO, and his friends last heard from him by text a few days later. A prayer service was held for him on Thursday. His family reported him missing on April 18.

β€œThank you to everyone who has come alongside the Allen Family in this great time of need,” family friend Jenny Lancaster wrote on the Find Tyler Facebook page.

Allen’s uncle, Scott Wennerstrum, told ABC 7 Chicago that Allen’s mother called him today and said Allen looked as if he hadn’t eaten for days.
