More Fence Vandalism in Western Springs
Two more incidents reported in last week, bringing total to 11.
WESTERN SPRINGS, IL — The spate of fence damage continues in Western Springs. The total is now 11 incidents, which date back to Valentine's Day.
The latest incident was reported as happening March 10 in the 100 block of Burlington Avenue, where a white vinyl fence was damaged. And a resident reported late last week that a white vinyl fence was damaged between Feb. 27 and March 1 in the 4100 block of Woodland Avenue.
In a previous incident, a residential security camera captured what appears to be young suspects who leave their cars, run up to the fence, and kick or break pickets from the fence. A video clip can be seen on the police department's Facebook page.
