Bright Horizons opened a new early education and preschool center on November 24, 2014, in Western Springs. The new center’s opening allows parents the opportunity to balance their work life and family life while providing high-quality education for their children. Bright Horizons at Western Springs has capacity for 190 children with Infant, Toddler, Young Preschool, full-time and part-time Preschool, and Kindergarten Prep programs, and is open Monday - Friday 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., year-round. The center also offers drop-in care.
On Saturday, January 24, 2015, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., community families are invited to Bright Horizons at Western Springs’s Grand Opening Celebration. Event highlights include: live musical performance with Mr. Singer & the Sharp Cookies, a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Western Springs Business Association, photo opportunity with Frozen’s Princess Elsa, children’s activities, face painting, and more!
Center Director, Kelly Raucci, is thrilled to host this event and introduce the community to Bright Horizons. “We offer a unique curriculum that includes a world of discovery guided by skilled teachers who recognize each child’s individual strengths,” Raucci said. “Whether it’s our Movement Matters Zone, complete with a rock climbing wall, or our wonderful, caring teachers, we’re truly excited to introduce our center to families in the community and celebrate!”
