Package Stolen, Car Burglaries: Western Springs Blotter

The following information is from the Western Springs Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

Sept. 9

• A package was stolen from the front porch of a home at 2:05 p.m. in the 4600 block of Grand Avenue.

Sept. 15

• The rear passenger side window was broken out in the 4400 block of Central Avenue at 3:30 p.m. A purse, containing a wallet, credit cards, cash and ID was stolen.
• A purse was stolen from an unlocked car in the 4400 block of Central Avenue at 3:30 p.m. The purse contained a wallet, credit cards and cash.
