Parks Under Construction In Western Springs

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL — Western Springs Park District continues to work on its capital projects, despite the summer heat. According to an update on the park district's website, Laidlaw Park and Northeast Park both are under construction.

Laidlaw playground construction started Monday, June 12, and the playground is currently fenced off and is closed to the public, according to the park district. The swing set will remain open during construction.

Pickle ball construction at Northeast Park started June 9 and will continue through June 16.
