Porch Piracy, Disorderly Conduct: Western Springs Cops
A suspect was charged with stealing a television from a front porch.
WESTERN SPRINGS, IL — The Western Springs Police Department released its latest reports:
- Malcolm J. Cox, 28, of Chicago, was arrested Thursday on a charge of theft. According to a police report, Cox stole a television from a resident's porch in the 4100 block of Wolf Road.
- A 17-year-old boy of Brookfield was charged Wednesday with disorderly conduct after an investigation into an incident at Spring Rock Park.
- Jose Sandoval-Hernandez, 39, of Cicero, was cited Saturday in the 1100 block of Ogden Avenue on a charge of driving with a suspended license and failure to use headlights during rain.
- An attempted retail theft occurred about 11 a.m. Nov. 10 at Mariano's, 4700 Gilbert Ave. The suspect left items in a cart when confronted by management, left the store and drove away. The items in the cart were valued at $230.
