Pot, Vaping Device Found On Teen At LTHS: Western Springs Blotter
Police in Western Springs responded to multiple identity theft calls last week.

Possession Of Cannabis
A 16-year-old boy was charged with possession of cannabis, possession of tobacco, electronic cigarettes and/or vaping device by a minor at 2:54 p.m. on Feb. 4 at Lyons Township High School.

Identity Theft
Western Springs police responded to two recent incidents of reported identity thefts. One was reported at 1:47 p.m. on Feb. 4 in the 5200 block of Ellington Avenue. The other at 8:47 a.m. on Feb. 5 in the 4800 block of Woodland Avenue.

In the Ellington Avenue report, the complainant reported an unknown person(s) used their credit card to make several purchases without their permission. In the Woodland Avenue report, the complainant reports an unknown person(s) opened several credit cards in their name without their permission.
Theft – Under $500
At 4:55 p.m. on Feb. 6 in the 4400 block of Clausen Avenue, a complainant reports an unknown person(s) took their wallet and attempted to use their credit card to make several purchases without their permission.
