Retail Theft, Damage: Western Springs Police

Two people are charged with retail theft at Mariano's.

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL — The Western Springs Police Department released its weekly blotter. Here is information from the blotter:

  • Nathaniel Watkins, 25, of Lansing, was arrested about 6 p.m. April 30 at Mariano's, 4700 Gilbert Ave., on charges of retail theft, driving on a suspended license and violating the handicapped parking restriction. He was released on bond.
  • Kimani M. Collier, 30, of Chicago, was arrested about 6 p.m. April 30 at Mariano's, 4700 Gilbert Ave., on a charge of retail theft.
  • Two light poles were reported damaged about 10 a.m. April 26 in the 900 block of Hillgrove Avenue.
  • A resident in the 5400 block of Johnson Avenue reported that someone sent an email claiming that he or she had access to several of the resident's accounts.
