Standard Market Westmont Hosts "Taste Of Standard Market" Festival

The chef-driven specialty food retailer Standard Market will host a “Taste of Standard Market” festival in its parking lot to showcase summertime street fare and family-friendly activities such as face painting, a magic show and live music from local musician Charley Thornton. Attendees can purchase tickets and enjoy samples or full portions of Standard Market’s gourmet offerings, such as Prosciutto, Melon and Grape Skewers, Miniature French Bread Buffalo Pizza, Mediterranean Lamb Kofta, Soy Ginger Shrimp Skewers, Beef Brisket Sliders and more. In addition, beer enthusiasts can enjoy pours straight from the beer truck, with beer selections including Goose Island Oktoberfest, Ale Syndicate duSable, Founders Red’s Rye and Founders Centennial IPA.

Standard Market will also unveil its newest vintage of the popular Pioneer Cabernet Sauvignon. Available exclusively at Standard Market, Standard Market Grill, and BAKERSFIELD, this velvety blend (80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot, 5% old vine Petite Sirah) showcases flavors of sweet red fruits and cloves framed with spicy, sweet oak and a touch of vanilla. Guests can enjoy complimentary samples and glasses for $6.
