SUV Stolen On Grand Avenue: Cops

A California license plate was swiped from a garage on Franklin Avenue.

The following information is from the Western Springs Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

Criminal Trespass to Vehicle

Between Oct. 14 at 11:15 p.m. and Oct. 15 at 8:15 a.m., an unknown subject(s) went through a vehicle’s center console and glove compartment in the 4000 block of Central Avenue. Nothing was reported missing.

Between Oct. 15 at 9:30 p.m. and the morning of Oct. 16, an unknown subject(s) went through a vehicle’s center console and glove compartment in the 4100 block of Central Ave. Nothing was reported missing.

Theft of Motor Vehicle

Between Oct. 15 at 10 p.m. and Oct. 16 at 8 a.m., an unknown subject(s) took a gray SUV in the 3800 block of Grand Ave. without permission.

Burglary – Motor Vehicle

Between Oct. 15 and Oct. 16 at 8:42 a.m., an unknown subject(s) took a black book bag and wallet containing a Driver’s License and gift cards from the 3900 block of Grand Ave.

Between Oct. 15 at 10:30 p.m. and Oct. 16 at 8 a.m., an unknown subject(s) entered an unlocked garage in the 4300 block of Prospect Ave. and entered two vehicles and removed miscellaneous change and a pair of sunglasses.

Theft – Under $300

Someone, at an unknown time before 5 p.m. on Oct. 16, entered a victim's garage in the 5400 block of Franklin Ave. and took a California License Plate.
