Valuables Stolen During Home Burglary In Western Springs

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL - Western Springs police are investigating a residential burglary that was reported Wednesday in the village's Field Park subdivision. Detectives say that forced entry was made to the unoccupied home in the 4200 block of Clausen Avenue sometime between 7:15 a.m. and 10 p.m. and that jewelry, cash and a credit card were stolen.

Police also say a resident in the area saw two black men walking from the backyard of the home between 6:15 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. and enter a tan SUV with temporary registration plates possibly beginning with the numbers 540.
