Vehicle Theft, No License: Western Springs Police Reports

The following items were taken from the Western Springs police blotter throughout the past week. Arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

No Valid Driver's License

• Jose Rodriguez-Saldivar, 21, of Chicago, was arrested at 12:46 a.m. Oct. 2 at 55th Street and Laurel Avenue for no valid driver's license and speeding.

Hit And Run

• Joshua Busuego, 29, of Chicago, was arrested at 12:46 a.m. Oct. 4 at Ogden and Grand avenues for hit and run and leaving the scene of an accident.

Theft of Motor Vehicle

• Jose Gutierrez, 25, of La Grange, was arrested at 1 p.m. Oct. 4 at LTHS, 4900 Gilbert Ave., for theft of motor vehicle and theft from motor vehicle.

Burglary to Motor Vehicle

• A backpack containing a laptop and documents was stolen from a vehicle sometime between Sept. 30 and Oct. 2 in the 4200 block of Clausen Avenue.
