Village Approves Fence for Western Springs Safety Village

The $23,800 fence will have screening much like the Lyons Township High School tennis courts.

In response to neighbor complaints about privacy from the new Western Springs Safety Village, the village board approved the funds to build a fence around part of the property.

The $23,800 fence will have screening much like the Lyons Township High School tennis courts, according to the Chicago Tribune, though the screen will come down after natural landscaping grows in its place.
