Village Board to Decide on Safety Village Fence Later this Summer

Fences put in place at the Western Springs Safety Village during construction have been removed.

Western Springs Village President William Rodeghier said the board may make a decision about a fence for the new safety village in late July or August.

One safety village neighbor told village trustees an agreement had been made for a fence to separate his property from the safety village, according to the Chicago Tribune, but the fences put in place during construction have been removed.

Rodeghier told the neighbor to talk to a committee, since the board relies on committee recommendations to make these kinds of decisions.
