Voting Information Meeting Held In La Grange

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL — A free program for the public regarding The Voting Rights Act and the Election Integrity Commission will be hosted at Lyons Township High School on Monday, Oct. 16. According to the village, David Orr, Cook County Clerk, will speak during the program about expanding voter registration and defending voting rights for all citizens.

According to the program flyer, the program will include a question session from the audience and a 30-minute video on the History of the Voting Rights Act.

The program is presented by the League of Women Voters La Grange Area, the Community Diversity Group of La Grange, and the Congregation of St. Joseph, Peace, and Justice Office.

The program will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. at Lyons Township High School North Campus, room 140, 100 S. Brainard, La Grange.
