Water to be Shut off on Part of Harvey Avenue for Valve Replacement
The Western Springs Public Works Department will repair a valve on the water distribution system on April 30.

Water will be shut off on April 30 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for Western Springs residents on Harvey Avenue from 39th Street to 41st Street.
The Western Springs Public Works Department will repair a valve on the water distribution system during that time, according to the village.
Flyers will be placed on the doors of residences that may be effected.

After the water has been turned back on, area residents may notice discoloration. If you experience discoloration, run the cold water from a fixture in the lowest level of the house until the water runs clear, the village has instructed.
Don’t do laundry or use the dishwasher until the water runs clear.
