Western Springs Arrests Burglary Suspect

A man is accused of forcing entry into a Western Springs house and stealing cash and jewelry.

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL — A Chicago man is accused of burglarizing a Western Springs house and stealing cash and jewelry. He forced entry through a rear basement door at the house in the 4000 block of Gilbert Avenue.

Peter Miller,32, was arrested Tuesday after a 28-month investigation into the Nov. 4, 2017, burglary, according to a police news release. He was charged with one felony count of residential burglary.

A judge in 5th District Circuit Court set Miller's bail at $100,000.
