This Western Springs Block Targeted By Burglars: Police

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL — Three unlocked garages in the 5100 block of Lawn Avenue were burglarized overnight Aug. 9. In one garage, a number of items, including a welder and hand tools, were stolen. In the second, a toolbox containing hand tools was taken, while a power washer and table saw were removed from the third.

The same night, a wallet was removed from the center console from a car parked in a driveway in the same block. The report did not state whether the car was locked.
