Western Springs Father and Son Rescued from Winooski River
The father and son were canoeing in Vermont when they lost a paddle and had to be rescued.
A father and son of Western Springs were rescued Sunday afternoon from the Winooski River in Vermont.
Andrew Schoneman and his 12-year-old son were canoeing in the river when they lost a paddle, according to the Chicago Tribune.
They made it to an island in the river, and they called for called for help. They weren’t injured.
