Western Springs Hosts National Night Out

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL — National Night Out will be held in Western Springs at Spring Rock Park on Tuesday, Aug. 1. The event is sponsored by Western Springs Park District and Western Springs Police Department.

According to a flyer, the event will run from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. and proceeds will go to Special Olympics Illinois and Buddy's Place at Pillars of Western Springs.

If you go to the event, you can also bring donations for the West Suburban Humane Society including: cat litter, pet food, dish washing liquid, paper towels, bleach or pet toys.

Other activities at the event include: a fingerprint station, kid zone, DJ, concessions, fire demos, and K-9 Units, ATVs and motorcycles.
