Western Springs, La Grange Police Plan National Night Out

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships.

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL — The Western Springs and La Grange police departments will come together to host a National Night Out for the area on Tuesday, Aug. 7. The event will take place from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the upper Spring Rock Park in Western Springs.

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live, the departments said.

According to the departments, there will be a raffle, bubble soccer, touch a truck, police and fire demos, a fingerprint station, dunk tank, music and food vendors.
