Western Springs Looking To Hire On-Call Firefighters

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL — The Western Springs Fire Department is looking for paid on-call firefighters. According to the department, prospective candidates must be 18 years or older and live in or within a mile of the village borders.

The department will hold an informational meeting for those interested on Tuesday, Aug. 28. The meeting will take place at 7:30 p.m. at the fire department headquarters at 4353 Wolf Road.
