Western Springs Police Conduct St. Patrick's Day Campaign

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL – The Western Springs Police Department will be participating in a statewide St. Patrick’s Day “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” and “Click It or Ticket” enforcement campaign from March 13 through March 17. According to the department, officers will be increasing their visible traffic enforcement primarily focusing on impaired driving and unbuckled motorists throughout Western Springs.

Additional enforcement will take place late at night when seat belt use is at its lowest and impaired driving is at its highest, the department said. Western Springs Police reminds the public to designate a sober driver and to buckle up – that is always your best defense against an impaired driver.
