Police To Educate About Scams And Identity Theft

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL — Like most law enforcement agencies, the Western Springs Police Department is dealing with its share of cases involving financial scams and identity theft. The police department and village staff will hold a presentation and discussion about such problems at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15, at the department, 740 Hillgrove Ave.

This will be chance for people to get information about scams and identify theft. Residents are urged to tell senior citizens they know who could benefit from such information.
