Western Springs Police Participate In Thanksgiving Campaign

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL — The Western Springs Police Department is participating in a statewide Thanksgiving Holiday “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” and “Click It or Ticket” enforcement campaign from Nov. 19 through Nov. 26. The department said officers will be increasing their visible traffic enforcement primarily focusing on impaired driving and unbuckled motorists throughout Western Springs.

According to the department, additional enforcement will take place late at night when seat belt use is at its lowest and impaired driving is at its highest.

The Western Springs Police would like to remind the public to designate a sober driver and to buckle up – that is always your best defense against an impaired driver. Driving impaired
is a deadly decision and it is against the law.
