Western Springs Police Reports: DUI, Driving with Suspended License

Western Springs Police Department provided crime and arrest information through Aug. 10

Someone fraudulently used a person’s credit card information Aug. 7 to make an unauthorized retail purchase for the amount of $8,062, according to Western Springs police.

Arthur L. Harris, age 34 of the 900 block of Field Street, Hammond, Indiana, was stopped Aug. 5 for speeding over the posted limit and improper lane usage at Wolf Road and Ogden Avenue. The arresting officer noticed an odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his breath. Harris was offered a series of field sobriety tests and was arrested for drunken driving. An open container of liquor was also found inside the defendant’s vehicle.

Danielle D. Weeden, age 29 of the 10200 block of South La Salle Street, Chicago, was stopped Aug. 7 for operating a vehicle without a functioning rear registration plate light at Ogden Avenue and Interstate 294. A records check confirmed defendant was driving with a suspended driver’s license.

Johnny L. Williams, age 24 of the 16700 block of Trapet Avenue, Hazel Crest, was stopped Aug. 8 for speeding over posted limit at Ogden Avenue and Interstate 294. A records check confirmed he was driving with a suspended license and no insurance. Nicole C. Rebstock, age 26 of the 100 block of Prairie Drive, Westmont, was arrested for having an outstanding arrest warrant from DuPage County along with being in possession of a container of an alcoholic beverage.

Avery L. Woods, age 24 of the 1000 block of Shoreline Drive, Aurora, was arrested Aug. 9 and processed at the Western Springs Police Department for having an outstanding arrest warrant.
