Western Springs Road Project To Start

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL — The Prospect Avenue project is slated to start Monday, weather permitting, the village said Thursday. The project is expected to include the installation of a new storm sewer, concrete reconstruction of the roadway, green infrastructure improvements and Americans with Disabilities Act sidewalk improvements.

According to the village, Prospect Avenue and adjacent side streets will be unavailable to through traffic during construction hours for the majority of the project. Expect detours and delays when traveling in the area. The village plans for the project to be completed in the fall.
