Western Springs Theft Suspect's Photos Released

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL — The Western Springs Police Department has released the photo of a bicycle theft suspect on Facebook. The theft occurred shortly before 10 a.m. March 2 at McClure Junior High, police said. The suspect rode in on another stolen bike and took a bike from the bike rack, police said. He then rode south.

In response to the police department's Facebook post, one person wrote, "What kind of grown man steals a child's bike?"

Another replied, "Are you sure that's a man?"
