2 Shootings In 10 Hours On Eisenhower Expressway: State Police
Illinois State Police are investigating the incidents. The latest shooting happened late Monday night.

CHICAGO, IL — Investigators are looking into the second shooting within 10 hours on the Eisenhower Expressway on Monday, the Chicago Tribune reports.
No one was hurt when a driver swerved into a ditch along Interstate 290 after a shot was fired at his green Buick from a dark-colored vehicle at about 10:30 p.m. Monday, March 27, the report stated. The driver was heading east near 17th Avenue in Maywood when the shooting happened, the report added.
The shooting shut down a stretch of the expressway while Illinois State Police investigated the incident, the Tribune reports.

Monday night's shooting was the second of the day on the Eisenhower. State police received a report of two vehicles exchanging gunfire at about 2 p.m. between California and Independence boulevards near Kedzie Avenue. No injuries were reported in that incident, which closed I-290 for about an hour.
