2 Women Shot Outside Mt. Sinai Hospital ER, Lockdown Lifted
The victims were visiting a relative who had been shot, according to a report.

CHICAGO, IL — Two women were wounded in a drive-by shooting outside Mount Sinai Hospital Saturday night, police said. The hospital was under lockdown after the shooting until midnight, officials reported. The women, both 35 years old, were standing outside the hospital's emergency room around 8 p.m. when someone inside a dark-colored sedan pulled up and fired shots, police said.
The women were hit in the lower body, and police said. They were listed in fair and good condition, police said.
The two victims were at the hospital after their relative, a 25-year-old man, was shot earlier in the day, according to a report by ABC 7. The man was riding a bicycle in the 3700 block of West Roosevelt when someone fired multiple shots at him, police said. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition, where he later died, authorities said.
