Arrest Made In 3 Fatal West Side Stabbings

A person was arrested in connection with deadly attacks in the Homan Square and Lawndale neighborhoods, police said.

CHICAGO — An arrest has been made in connection with three fatal stabbings on Chicago's West Side, police said. Chicago Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson made the announcement during a press conference Monday.

Three victims were stabbed to death in the city's Homan Square and Lawndale neighborhoods between Nov. 13 and Nov. 15, police said.

A 57-year-old woman was stabbed in the 1000 block of South Kedzie on the morning of Nov. 13. A 64-year-old man was stabbed in the 1100 block of South Keeler in the evening of Nov. 15. A 58-year-old man was stabbed in the 1200 block of South Christiana in the afternoon of Nov. 20.

Police released surveillance videos of the suspect last week, who was wearing a black hoodie, blue pants and red shoes.

Johnson did not release the name of the person who was arrested.
